Exploring bio-based renewable energy resources

The Wisconsin Bioenergy Information and Outreach Network is a collaborative portal that will help stakeholders reach the information they need to make sound business decisions and foster a value chain for biomass production, harvest, aggregation and delivery.

Currently under development, the website is taking shape as a comprehensive source of information that will allow researchers, businesses, entrepreneurs and policy makers to find the information and technologies they need to develop and grow the bioenergy industry in Wisconsin.

We have gathered and organized numerous spatial data layers relevant to siting and facility operations and present these through interactive mapping. Users can select data useful to their interests and use mapping tools to zoom into an area to display and query the results.
